As our new world and its new order quickly develops we are already beginning to see African nations begin to finally cut their last connections with their former colonial rulers. Africa has the resources that many other countries need, and many of those “Other Countries” have been stealing and swindling these resources from Africa for many, many years…
What do countries like Britain and France have to offer the global community these days apart from wokeism, LGBTQ propaganda, oppressive bureaucracy and the instigation of conflicts? They have no natural resources, they produce little, their perspectives are well out of date, and they only seek to manipulate and control those they interact with.
In my opinion, and I could be wrong, one of the major issues with Africa now is that the former colonial powers divided up Africa with little or no regard for the traditional tribal boundaries and cultures. This also happened in the Middle East with the The Sykes–Picot Agreement that divided up the Ottoman control lands after World War One. The major losers in this case were the Kurdish people and other ethnic minorities. Maybe the restructuring of countries and borders within Africa could solve some issues, but might also cause a lot more due to governments not willing to concede land and influence…
The only people who should be working to solve Africa’s issues is Africans. It is obvious that trying to press western cultures and values on Africa does not work and these days much of what is being promoted as mainstream Western culture is alien to African culture. But, the powers in the West seem blinkered and ignorant to anything other than their shallow opinions and values.
As Europe declines, Africa will rise… This is obvious to anyone who can view global developments from outside of the European bubble mindset… And from my conversations with people this seems obvious to anyone who is in the real “Rest of the World”, not the limited countries in the “Rest of the World” whose opinions and well-being are the only ones that matter to those in Washington DC, London and Brussels…
Also, seeing South Africa taking Israel to the International Criminal Court for human rights violations in Gaza (2023) shows that Africa has finally found its voice in the international community. It will be interesting in the future to see how they hold their former colonial masters accountable for the many years of abuses and exploitation.
Maybe the African way of doing things is more in tune with human nature and its core values. The values and attributes that have been sanitized from Western European culture and replaced with value systems than are contrived for the benefits of their elites. Contrived value systems that have brainwashed vast swaths of this planet into thinking that anyone who does not adhere to these “Civilized” systems is not only primitive but also automatically an enemy… In recent years alone how many people have been killed in Libya, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and Ukraine for the sake of these “Civilized” value systems?
Humans as we are, have only been in existence for around two hundred thousand years… We are a relatively new species and for better or worse are developing quickly and controlling the future of this planet. A question to ponder, is if humans will still be in existence in another two hundred thousand years?
Africa has too much wisdom, and a lot to teach the world. Well, teach those with open minds and who are secure enough in themselves to be able to accept and understand that learning from other cultures can be enriching and beneficial for everyone.
