I like African proverbs and one of my favorites is “Lions do not turn their heads for the barks of dogs”… Very relevant in today’s world! I don’t read much these days but a friend of mine got me a signed copy of this “Who Will Teach the Wisdom”… It has a lot of truths and excellent perspectives on Africa and counter insurgency warfare. The author was a member of the Rhodesian Light Infantry, a senior member of the Selous Scouts and also served with the South African Recce’s, so he understands things!! Excellent read!!
